About Me.
Hello, I'm James and I don't like writing bios about myself. Mostly because I'm always thinking of the shamelessness of only talking about the things I'm really good at, like operating cameras or drones or taking photos and never discussing my flaws; like how I'm just such a perfectionist that sometimes I take way longer than I should on a project to make sure it properly meets the brief, makes your brand look awesome and you're going to love it. And it's better to be up front isn't it? However, apparently text (especially regularly updated text) is really good for Google's algorithm, which is obviously a necessity for self-promotion and the point of this bio and the website in general really, is self-promotion so if I don't write one then what are we even doing here?
The other reason I don't like writing bios is because I have a habit of rambling wildly off-topic when I should probably be telling you about how I've been flown all over the world for documentaries, events and live shows to capture or support-the-capture of some of the biggest brands and entertainment faces in the world; that I love what I do and it stems from a passion for the cinematography of film and the relationship between the director and the DOP to bring to life the vision of the script and create a visual that lives up to it. I should probably be saying things like, "I want to take how you see your brand and make you a video that drives that vision forward in a bold and cinematic way." but that does sound pretty corny..
I love travel. That's how I would probably start my actual bio if I wrote one. I think it's important to find new ways of doing things and be proven wrong and I think the best way to work is to collaborate.
Anyway, enough about me, let's discuss your project.
